Office Secretary – Now Hiring!

New Westside Terrace Retirement and Assisted Living Longview WA is family owned and operated.
We’re looking for an office secretary. Prior experience in the following is a plus: Reception and secretarial, as well as senior living, assisted living and senior care experience.
Schedule is Monday – Friday day-shift.
Duties include, but not limited to: Answering phones, data entry, scheduling, etc.
Pay determined upon experience-qualifications.

Natasha has been a Somerset caregiver for 2 years. She’s sweet, competent, and our staff and residents love her.

February 16th, 2021We are looking for a reliable, professional, patient, empathetic, and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our awesome senior care team!
New Westside Terrace Retirement Home and Assisted Living Longview WA is our family-owned assisted living and retirement building at 1200 17th Ave, Longview WA.
Our mission is to provide seniors with a safe, healthy and happy home where they can age with dignity and enjoy senior living.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: MARS, appointments scheduling, assess resident needs, documentation, communication with doctors, residents, families and staff, follow standards of nursing protocols and conduct, and perform other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* Current registration as LPN in the state of Washington
* Be willing to submit drug test and background check
* A reasonable level of computer literacy using Windows, Word, and Excel.
Pay to be discussed upon hire – depending on your level of skills and experience.

COVID Update – Good News!
February 4th, 2021Staff and residents are receiving their 2nd dose of Phizer COVID vaccine on…
Tuesday, Feb 2 from 11AM to 5 PM at New Westside Terrace Retirement and Assisted Living in Longview WA. If you have questions, please call 360-423-9392.
Sunday, Feb 7 from 11AM to 5 PM at Somerset Retirement and Assisted Living Longview WA. If you have questions, please call 360-423-7392.
The FDA website says 2nd dose of Phizer COVID vaccine is expected to give a significant level of immunity starting 3 weeks AFTER 2nd shot.
We test staff and residents regularly. There are no known cases of COVID at our facilities.
We want to stay COVID free. We will continue to follow COVID prevention safety protocols (masks, social distancing, restricted visitation, etc) until COVID is over. We ask for your ongoing cooperation and understanding. Our safety policies have been effective, and will be even more effective after vaccine starts to provide significant partial immunity (3 weeks after 2nd shot).
Note: Vaccination is expected to provide significant partial immunity, not complete immunity. This is why we must continue good safety practices until COVID is over. Keeping your loved ones safe is our top priority.
We continue having many weekly activities, including arts and crafts, entertainment, and exercise classes (safely done). We are safely maintaining a good quality of life for residents.
Staff and residents are still enjoying life and having fun, as you can see in other posts.
Somerset Employee of Month for January
February 4th, 2021Alex has worked for Somerset dietary staff for 10 years. She is our employee of the month and received a $25 bonus and certificate of appreciation!
