Somerset Senior Living had Halloween Arts and Crafts
November 9th, 2021Somerset residents enjoy several fun senior activities each week, including games, arts and crafts, and sometimes outings/field-trips. This week the arts and crafts projects were making Halloween decorations.

Veterans Day Celebration
November 8th, 2021We celebrated veterans day! A great big thank you to our Somerset Veterans for their service.
We care about our veterans and want them to enjoy senior living.
You are invited to tour Somerset Retirement Home and Assisted Living Longview WA. A mask is required during tours until COVID is over.
Job Openings
October 12th, 2021Somerset has current job openings.
You must be able to pass a criminal background check (including fingerprint check), be hard working, compassionate, caring, and enjoy working with seniors. We do random drug testing.
Pay is determined by position and experience.
New in Fall 2021: All employees are required by WA state law to be vaccinated to work in a retirement home and assisted living facility.
Jobs applicants must be vaccinated (or willing to get vaccinated).
We currently have a job openings for:
Dietary Staff (cooks, prep cooks, waiters and waitresses)
Caregivers
Nurse (LPN or RN)
Nursing job (for LPN or RN) offers competitive pay, good working conditions, flexible hours, and more. 2+ years experienced required.

COVID Prevention
August 6th, 2021We strongly encourage staff, residents, and family members to get vaccinnated. The majority of staff and residents are vaccinated. All staff and residents are tested every 2 weeks. Individuals are tested sooner if they have symptoms. We carefully follow state recommended safety practices.
Vaccination, masks, social distancing, and other prevention measures continue to be important. The new strain of COVID is in Longview.

Somerset Picnic at Trojan State Park!
July 25th, 2021Somerset residents enjoyed a July outing to Trojan State Park where they enjoyed sun, flowers, a picnic, lawn darts, and other games.
Thank you caregiver Brad and volunteer Ailie for lending a hand and helping with this fun day!
