Mother Day Party at Somerset
May 24th, 2023Our Somerset residents and mothers had a fun party celebrating Mothers Day 2023. They enjoyed desserts, live music, and showing off and posting for photos in the Thai dyed t-shirts they made earlier in May. Our Mothers Day party had a 1970s theme, including disco and Thai dye.

A fun outing at Applebees!
March 13th, 2023Somerset residents enjoyed a fun outing at Applebees for lunch!
We have lots of fun senior living activities every week. In the warmer half of the year, this includes many fun outings in Longview, Cowlitz County, Rainier, and sometimes to Portland or the beach.
As the weather warms up we’ll be having more field-trips!

March 12th, 2023Somerset residents enjoyed delicious desserts and treats at their annual Royal Valentine’s Day Party!
Our cooking staff made delicious desserts from scratch. Residents enjoyed artistically decorating their cookies and proudly showing them off!

Senior Activity Field-Trip to El Tapacia
July 24th, 2022Somerset seniors enjoyed riding our bus on a field-trip to El Tapatia restaurant in Rainier. We enjoyed an fun outing, yummy Mexican food and great service!

Job Openings
October 12th, 2021Somerset has current job openings.
You must be able to pass a criminal background check (including fingerprint check), be hard working, compassionate, caring, and enjoy working with seniors. We do random drug testing.
Pay is determined by position and experience.
New in Fall 2021: All employees are required by WA state law to be vaccinated to work in a retirement home and assisted living facility.
Jobs applicants must be vaccinated (or willing to get vaccinated).
We currently have a job openings for:
Dietary Staff (cooks, prep cooks, waiters and waitresses)
Caregivers
Nurse (LPN or RN)
Nursing job (for LPN or RN) offers competitive pay, good working conditions, flexible hours, and more. 2+ years experienced required.
