Comfort Kid Knitting with Knitting Club

The comfort kid in the photo below is Lisee the daughter of one of Somerset’s administrators. She’s also a member of the Longview Knitting Gals Club that meets at Somerset (Tuesdays from 1:30 to 3 PM).

Lisee enjoys learning to knit with the Knitting Gals club. She’s getting good at it and has entered a stocking hat she made in the Cowlitz County Fair. Good luck Lisee! We hope you win!

Longview Knitting Gals club membership is free. The public is invited. All ages are invited. Members range in age from kids to seniors. If you don’t know how to knit, they’ll happily teach you!

Here are some of the hats the Knitting Gals made in 2019. They give away 1,000 hats to charity each year.
